It's my birthday!

I don't have much to share today. Just a picture of the sad mini birthday cake I made for myself. I only hope that my next attempt shows improvement! I had the most trouble with the frosting. I think I didn't add small enough chunks of polymer clay to the liquid sculpey. Any suggestions are very appreciated. So, although it doesn't look very pretty, I'm sure it tastes good. You are all invited to the party. Have a piece of cake and stay awhile!

I know you're enjoying real cake now (and pizza)! It does look like you've got too much liquid sculpey, or too little clay depending on how you want to look at it. When you mix the two, it should be thick enough to hold a swirl and the cake should be completely cool. That's all I know about frosting.

Thank you! And thanks, Brenda, for the advice about the cake. I'll have to try again soon. I don't like the unsuccessful attempts but they do keep me humble. :-)
